Discover Hastings Old Town from our charming former fisherman's cottage. Just a few steps from the beach and the historic George Street. This cottage features an Aga kitchen, original beams, and accommodates 2 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom via a unique, original steep staircase, making it ideal for family getaways.

On the ground floor, an open-plan layout seamlessly combines the lounge and kitchen, with the lounge featuring comfy seating and a decorative (non-working) fireplace. The kitchen, complete with an Aga, opens to the patio area and an outdoor toilet.

Ascend the original steep staircase to the first floor, where you'll discover the master bathroom complete with a shower. Across the landing is a double bedroom.

Continue up another staircase to the top level, where you'll find two charming bedrooms—one double and one twin

Guests will have access to the majority of the property. Out of bounds areas are locked off.

Prime Location: West Street connects you seamlessly to both Hastings beach and the historic George Street. A convenient footpath from the cottage leads directly to George Street, and within minutes, you can dip your toes into the sea at Hastings beach.

Parking Convenience: Please note that due to the narrow street, there's no parking directly outside the cottage. However, you can briefly stop to unload your belongings before parking your vehicle in one of the nearby car parks or on-street parking (payment required).

Charming George Street: George Street is a treasure trove of independent traders, offering an array of experiences. Explore historic pubs and restaurants like "The Old Pump House" for delicious food and drinks. Uncover unique and quirky shops that make for hours of delightful browsing.

There is no parking at the property. Cars will have to be parked either on the street (there on some spaces on the A259 by the arcades) or in one of the car parks Rock-a-Nore, The Bourne or Pelham Place. These are charges for the parking.

There is no Uber in Hastings, but there are a couple of local Taxi firms (247 and Carmiles are 2).

The bus service is very good either around the town, or going off to Eastbourne or Rye for the day. By downloading the Stagecoach app you can track the buses and see when one is due.

Guests should be aware that the AGA cannot be turned off.
